"> '); Catch-all Emails
A catch-all mailbox is one that captures all the messages sent to inactive email addresses. For example, if your address is info@domain.com, but somebody miswrites it and sends a message to inof@domain.com, it will still be received in the catch-all mailbox that you have created. Just one single mailbox per domain can have this feature enabled and thus you will never miss messages because the other party has an obsolete address or has made a spelling mistake. The disadvantage of configuring a catch-all mailbox is that you may start receiving a lot of junk messages, but this issue can be solved using anti-spam protection software. It is also essential to bear in mind that a mailbox with an enabled catch-all functionality cannot redirect inbound emails to a 3rd-party address.

Catch-all Emails in Shared Web Hosting

You will be able to configure a catch-all email mailbox without any effort if you’ve got a shared web hosting account with us. The Email Manager in our custom-created Hepsia hosting Control Panel is full-featured, yet very simple to work with, and it will allow you to activate different options, including the catch-all one, with just a few mouse clicks. All the email addresses that you have created will be enumerated alphabetically in this section and on the right-hand side of each of them you’ll notice a small "Catch-all" button. Clicking it once will activate this feature, clicking it once again will disable it. As you can have just one such catch-all mailbox per domain name, our system will inform you if you already have another one with this feature activated or if you have activated email forwarding.

Catch-all Emails in Semi-dedicated Servers

The catch-all functionality can be enabled without difficulty if you’ve got a semi-dedicated server plan with our company. All the email addresses that you’ve set up using the domains hosted in the semi-dedicated account will be displayed in the Email Manager section of your Hepsia Control Panel and you will find a small button conveniently located directly next to each one. With just one click of the mouse, you can enable or disable the catch-all option for any mailbox of your desire on the condition that there isn't another mailbox under the same domain name with the option already enabled and there isn't active email forwarding. Instead, you can right-click on an email address and enable this option using the context menu that will show up. If any of the conditions for setting up a catch-all mailbox is not satisfied, our system will let you know, but will not replace or disable anything automatically.
