"> '); EPP Transfer Protection
If you wish to transfer a domain from one domain registrar to another, you’ll need a special transfer code, which may be referred to by various names – an EPP key, an Auth-Info code, a domain password, and so on. All these names designate the very same thing – a code that the domain name owner gets from the present domain name registrar and gives to the new one at the time of the order. Without a genuine code, a domain name transfer cannot be started and this is one of the protection mechanisms against unsanctioned transfer attempts used with all generic and with most country-code extensions. For better security, the code includes digits and/or special characters and is case-sensitive, so in case you’d like to transfer one of your domains, you have to provide the new domain registrar with the correct code.

EPP Transfer Protection in Shared Web Hosting

You can obtain the EPP transfer authentication code for any domain that you have registered through us with only a couple of clicks from the same Hepsia Control Panel that you’ll use to administer your shared web hosting account. As soon as you go to the Registered Domains section, you will see all your domain names conveniently displayed in alphabetical order. If some extension supports transfers between domain registrars with an EPP code, you will see an EPP button next to the given domain name. If you click that button, the code will be emailed to the email associated with the Registrant contact for the given domain. If you want, you can edit the contact information, including the email address, without the need to leave this section of the Control Panel, if the currently entered email is no longer valid.

EPP Transfer Protection in Semi-dedicated Servers

You can quickly get the transfer authentication code for any domain registered under a semi-dedicated server account if you decide to transfer it away. This can be achieved through the very same Control Panel, via which you administer your account, so you will not have to switch between different Control Panels. All you will need to do is visit the Control Panel’s domain management section and click the EPP button for the domain that you wish to transfer, on the condition that its TLD extension supports transfers with such a code. Our system sends all codes automatically to the domain name registrant’s email listed in the domain’s WHOIS record, so in case the email address that is currently entered is out of date, you can modify it with a few clicks of the mouse without needing to leave the Control Panel’s domain management section.
